Levanta Renewables is a renewable energy developer and independent power producer in Southeast Asia. We develop, build and deliver renewable energy solutions that work for each country in support of its transition to renewable energy, and do so in a sustainable manner while helping local communities. With a shared goal towards helping Southeast Asia realise its energy transition and net zero targets, Levanta is backed by Actis, a leading sustainable infrastructure private equity firm. We are developing 1.5 GW of renewable energy projects in Southeast Asia through M&A and greenfield development of C&I and utility scale projects.

Due to business expansion, we are actively seeking an Engineering Manager to be based in Vietnam to join our C&I Business. This role reports to Co-Head of C&I business.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

• Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to ensure successful project delivery. 
• The Engineering Manager will work closely with the other members of the business development and project teams. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project development, construction, and operations to ensure seamless project execution. 
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical due diligence to identify potential risks and opportunities for project optimization. 
• Assist the project team, if necessary, with engineering review, testing, commissioning, start-up and other technical services. 
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in solar technology, industry trends, and regulatory changes to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge. 
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines and financial targets. 
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs to foster professional growth and development within the engineering team. 
• Collaborate with business development teams to support the preparation of technical proposals, feasibility studies, and cost estimates for potential projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Post Graduate qualification in a relevant field is desired but not necessary  
• Minimum 7 years of prior experience in the Renewable Energy sector in the areas of project development, construction management and supervision of O&M.  
• Technical knowledge of renewable energy and storage projects with prior experience in the areas of project development, construction management, engineering and supervision of O&M.  
• Excellent interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills.  
• Ability to set high personal goals and work independently.  
• Fluent in both written and spoken English. 
• Periodic travel with Southeast Asia countries and provinces where projects are located, project sites located within the country would be required as per business requirements.
