Marketing & Sales Support Manager

Levanta Renewables is a utility-scale renewable energy developer and independent power producer in Southeast Asia. We develop, build and deliver renewable energy solutions that work for each country in support of its transition to renewable energy, and do so in a sustainable manner while helping local communities. With a shared goal towards helping Southeast Asia realise its energy transition and net zero targets, Levanta is backed by Actis, a leading sustainable infrastructure private equity firm. We are developing 1.5 GW of renewable energy projects in Southeast Asia through M&A and greenfield development of C&I and utility scale projects.

Due to business expansion, we are actively seeking a Marketing & Sales Support Manager to be based in Malaysia or Thailand to join our team. This role reports to the heads of C&I. 

Role & Responsibilities

1. Sales Support

  • Collaborate with the sales team to create and maintain sales materials, presentations, and proposals.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales contracts and documentation.
  • Assist in preparation of bid documents and project specific proposals.

2. Marketing Strategy and Support

  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the Levanta’s vision and brand positioning.
  • Identify target audiences and devise plans to reach and engage them effectively.
  • Work closely with different teams to develop and implement marketing strategies for the SEA region.
  • Manage the production of marketing collateral and promotional materials.
  • Support the organization and logistics of external events, conferences, and exhibitions.
  • Manage industry memberships in various jurisdictions.

3. Brand Development

  • Produce high-quality content such as articles, blog posts, videos, infographics, and case studies to educate, inform, and entertain our target audience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and insights for content creation.
  • Uphold brand standards and guidelines in all external communications and marketing materials. Ensure brand consistency and integrity across various channels and touchpoints.

4. Digital Marketing and Analytics

  • Drive online and e-mail marketing campaigns through integrated approach with CRM such as Salesforce.
  • Analytical, and able to effectively leverage data to build a brand across all channels that resonate with and excite prospects and clients.
  • Know your way around a CMS, Google Analytics and their relevant metrics.
  • Oversee highly capable marketing functions, including Digital Marketing, Branding, Strategy & Operations, to drive integrated strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Manage the company’s presence on social media platforms which may include Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and others.
  • Develop and execute social media campaigns to engage followers, increase brand awareness, and drive website traffic.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics such as website traffic, social media engagement, email open rates, and media coverage. Use data insights to optimize marketing strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.

5. Event Strategy and Campaign Creation

  • Develop a unique events strategy, including hosted and sponsored events tied to the growth of Business Development.
  • Drive brand awareness by creating cohesive event campaigns.
  • Collaborate with all departments to create globally integrated campaigns, including paid search campaigns, press releases, stakeholder engagement, events, and email campaigns.

6. External Communications

  • Craft compelling messages and content for external communication channels including press releases, media pitches, social media posts, newsletters, and website updates.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all platforms.
  • Manage a schedule of external communications for press releases and similar updates
  • Draft press releases and other communication material
  • Manage a list of external publications and media contacts.
  • Publish press releases, industry newsletters, and company updates on LinkedIn, marketing contacts, website and other medium.

Ideal candidate should possess

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing support roles.
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience in the renewable energy or energy industry will be a plus.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and sales support functions.
  • A self-starter, with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • A team player, and able to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Proven organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Occasional travel within the SEA region may be required.
