Levanta Renewables is a renewable energy developer and independent power producer in Southeast Asia selling renewable energy to corporate and utility customers. We develop, build and operate projects in support of the transition to renewable energy. We are developing 1.5 GW of renewable energy projects in Southeast Asia through M&A and greenfield development of corporate and utility scale projects. 

Due to business expansion, we are seeking an O&M Manager, Malaysia to be based in Kuala Lumpur, reporting to Director O&M – Solar. 

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

• Responsible for operations and maintenance of ground mount and rooftop solar power plants across Malaysia.
• Accountable for maintenance activities of the plants including monitoring of the performance of the assets. 
• Responsible for performance improvement of the operational assets.  
• Responsible for maintaining the overall performance of the assets as per our commitment with investors and lenders.  
• Management of necessary regulatory requirements for the operation of the plant. 
• Responsible for invoicing to clients and utilities. Coordinate with utility and customer for payment collection. 
• Responsible for development of the SOPs, method statements and checklists for the O&M activities. 
• Responsible for development of RFPs for O&M bidding, negotiations and finalization of O&M contractors for solar power plants. 
• Responsible for managing the O&M contractor on site. 
• Responsible for takeover of new sites including development of handover plans etc. 
• Responsible for implementation of safety management system on the operational projects. 
• Should be willing to travel to different sites as per requirement. 

• Bachelors’ degree (in Electrical or Electronics Engineering) 
• 7+ years of experience in Solar O&M space 
• Should have knowledge on the implementation of the monitoring system for solar power plants. 
• Should have good communication skills in English. 
• Strategic thinking, prioritization skills and able to plan and execute under defined procedures. 
• Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills 
• Experience in contractor finalization and management. 
• Candidate should have strong data analytics skills.
