On 08 January 2026, Magallanes Solar Energy Corp. (“MSC”) filed, through the Energy Virtual One-Stop Shop (EVOSS) portal, an Application dated 30 December 2025 seeking the Energy Regulatory Commission’s approval of its authority to develop, own, and/or operate dedicated point-to-point limited transmission facilities to connect the 175.287 MW Barotac Viejo Solar Power Plant to the Barotac Viejo 138 kV Substation, with Prayer for provisional authority.

The ERC has set a hearing on 16 March 2026 to determine compliance with jurisdictional requirements and other related matters.
